This is a fish motif that can be used for coloring, paper crafts, and fishing games. You can also create an underwater world like an aquarium.
The fish species selected are those found in the waters off the coast of Japan. The first collection includes 15 species.
Each fish is listed with its scientific name and where it lives.
The habitats are divided into three areas.
A. Five species of fish that live near the ocean surface
B. Five species of fish that live on the coast
C. Five species of fish that live near the bottom of the ocean or in sand or mud

Fish are interesting.
When we buy fish to eat, they are often cut into fillets and we don't know what shape they are in. When we go to the aquarium, we are sometimes surprised.
If you take a closer look at an illustrated book, you will see that there are reasons for the foods fish eat and the places they live.
Also, the names of some fish change depending on where they are caught and their size.
For example, "sea slug" (Japanese name) and "amefurasi" (Japanese name) are different creatures, but in some places "sea slug" is called "amefurasi." In Oita Prefecture, some places call it "rabbit."
It might be interesting to find out what names other than the scientific name are used for plants in the area where you live.
